Almost a century of history
Our story began back in 1929, when inventor and designer Anders Wikstrand in Mora, Sweden, devised a method for making ladders from thin-walled steel tubes. This became the basis for the company WIBE, which he started together with financier Victor Berg.
In the 1960s, radio and TV masts began to be built and erected all over Sweden. In 2009, Anders Särström, Jocke Karlén and CG Sommar saw the great potential and continued the business within the company Scanmast.
