Scanmast signs framework agreement that secures future jogging tracks in Linköping

Linköping Municipality has chosen to sign a new framework agreement for the period 2025-2029 for construction work in the municipality's jogging tracks. The work will begin with a comprehensive lighting change where traditional lighting is replaced with energy-efficient LED luminaires.

The first step is to modernise the lighting of the jogging tracks in Lambohov, Linghem, Sturefors, Tallboda, Vidingsjö and Åbysäcken.

- The new LED technology not only improves the quality of light for exercisers, but also reduces energy consumption and running costs. This is an important investment in both public health and sustainability, says Jessica Wahlberg, Head of Commercial.

- By improving accessibility and safety, we will make it easier and more attractive for Linköping residents to move around all year round, concludes Jessica.

Work on the lighting replacements will start in the second half of 2025 and is expected to be completed before the start of the winter season.

The framework contract also covers other civil engineering works that will be implemented on an ongoing basis during the contract period until 2029.
