Installation & commissioning
We install and commission all kinds of equipment and technology in our truss structures, such as radio and transmission, cameras, anemometers and lighting. We also install fibre and lay pipes and cables in pipe bridges.
Long experience in installation and commissioning
Large projects in telecoms and industry, for example, require an overview and good planning. At Scanmast, we are used to controlling large parts of the logistics chain necessary for this type of installation and commissioning. We have extensive experience of major commissioning projects in the latest technology, from the 2G network to today's 5G network.
Our installation and commissioning solutions
When you leave installation and commissioning to us, you get a smooth project that runs and works as it should.
Electricity and telecoms: We install and commission all kinds of telecoms equipment, lighting fixtures and cameras. We ensure that electrical and telecoms cables are correctly routed to the nearest facility.
Fibre and broadband: We take care of the construction of fibre facilities for both broadband expansion and the connection of mobile base stations.
Radio and radio link: We help you install and commission both radio and radio link from most suppliers.
New installation: When we build brand new telecoms sites in masts and towers, we call them "Greenfields". On rooftops, the corresponding sites are called "Roof top". For these new sites, we install and commission new technology on the mast, tower or rooftop. This can be our own or other suppliers' masts and towers.
Replacement of equipment: Replacing equipment at an existing site is known as a 'brownfield' or 'equipment swap'. These are often time-sensitive installations and are carried out during working hours that do not disrupt ongoing operations. We help to replace equipment such as radios, free cooling and extending battery back-up.
Indoor solutions: Good indoor coverage is a given. We help you install and commission indoor solutions in office buildings, commercial properties, stadiums, shopping centres and tunnels.
