Baktash Nori – Project Support
You are project support – what does that mean?
I work under the project managers and support them.
What are your duties?
Most of my work is with drawings for masts and towers, for example when the Swedish Transport Administration upgrades the technology at railways. I also work in construction so I make calculations on the masts and towers we build, how much load and antennas they can hold up.
What does a normal week look like for you?
The beginning of the week with a reconciliation meeting in our team. Then I get emails from different places, e.g., from project managers and team leaders, who need help with parts of the projects. I support them with calculations, situation plans and site designs. It will be a little here and a little there and a little everywhere!
What qualities are good to have in your role?
You must be confident, have knowledge and education. You must be open to development and want to learn new things.
What’s most fun about your job?
It’s the colleagues! The team and all colleagues are nice and before the pandemic we had coffee together every day. It feels good to work in an environment like this.
How is Scanmast as a workplace?
It is a free workplace, and you feel part of the future because we are expanding the 5G network. It is a flexible workplace that offers the opportunity to work from home and I think that is good.
What does Scanmast’s value word “Safe, Driven and Genuine” mean to you in your everyday life?
This means that I have knowledge of the job that I do, the things that I leave behind are real and you are always updated about new technology. The customer always comes first!
