History
The story begins in Mora in 1929, when inventor and designer Anders Wikstrand came up with a way of making ladders out of thin-walled steel tubing. This led to the foundation of the company WIBE, which Anders started with financier Victor Berg.
During the 1960s, the company built radio and television masts that were situated all over Sweden. Since then, thousands of towers, braced masts and truss bridges have been delivered around the world.
In 2009, seeing the enormous potential, Anders Särström, Jocke Karlén and CG Sommar took the company forward as Scanmast.
Scanmast is still based in Mora to this day, now with a subsidiary in Norway and a sales office in Finland.
